I’ve never been big on cars (I still ride the subway) but one day I will have a Mercedes CLS550. It’s quite possibly the sexiest car I’ve ever seen. Never been a Benz fan (always adored Ferraris) but the CLS makes me happy inside. 2 people who live in my condo block own one and I saw the black one this morning… it’s so much prettier in person. It retails at 90k MSRP so perhaps when I play 10/20 it will be one of my goals.

Had an easy start to the day, winning ~1.6k in about 300 hands of 1/2 and 300nl. Didn’t get much action so I went to play some xbox. Came back a bit later and decided to 2-table some reg at 2/4. He was so terrible but his random pressing buttons skills did manage him a solid 4bi win, erasing my profit on the day.

Basically he did a bunch of horrible plays but still ended up winning pots somehow or I never had anything to combat him with.  I might have not adjusted properly, not sure.

Interesting day I guess. I started off being really bored waiting/chasing for action but not getting any. Finally I got one table going at 1/2 and boy was it frustrating. I don’t think I’ve ever ran so bad in terms of not making a hand/making hands at the wrong time and just plain being annoyed for 500 hands. I lost 6bi to  him and once I got 200bb deep he left.

After that I 2-tabled a regular at 3/6 and also played my first hands of 5/10, all 20 of them :p

It was a good match even tho I ran pretty bad in big pots. Overall I lost maybe around $300 total today which is a nice result given the 1.6k loss to the guy at 1/2 (euros).

Also today I officially handed my “resignation” from my last design client.. meaning I am completely free to play poker 100% of the time now, which is a nice relief. I just couldn’t stand doing design work anymore after 11 yrs… poker is just a lot more interesting and profitable.

Sucky way to end it as my last 3-4 sessions have been really frustrating. It’s not the $ but just the way it happened. Seems like every session I had people would run like god and then hit/run as soon as they’re up a buyin or two. Oh well, so it goes. I shouldn’t complain since I had my best month ever. I’m just really competitive and I hate losing, I think I will always not deal with it too well in some way or another.

So this month went well overall. My total winnings were $11,746. Plus rb/bonuses I should reach around $15k. I pretty much split my time between 1/2 and 2/4 and started playing 3/6 near the end (not much). I’m phasing out 1/2 now as I feel like I am ready to play a mix of 400 and 600. I’m moving some money around this week.. I get no action on Ladbrokes anymore, even from most regs. I just sit there all day…

Goals for next month… break 20k $, move up to 3/6 comfortably and stop playing 6-max as it’s boring/waste of time unless I am playing 2-3 handed.

Today was really boring. No action, only got 561 hands in and most of those were at 6-max.. I get no action on my usual site anymore. I’ll probably have to focus on FTP from now on and possibly move money elsewhere. I decided to “move up” to 3/6 today but again not much action even tho I got to play a couple of ppl. One was a fish which I stacked and the other seemed to be a really nitty reg.

Saturday i’m going to see the Habs vs the Leafs at the Bell Center, should be fun. I have to think of a costume to make fun of Mike Komisarek..

Today I made $5/hand.. granted it was over 550 hands, but i’ll take it. I pretty much won every big pot except a couple where i floated/got raised in 3/4bet pots.  Biggest pot i won was a combo draw vs 2p for 300bb which I hit and a 3bet pot i floated on with a gutter and hit river vs AQ high.

Nothing amazingly superb but it felt good to run well after the last 10k hands being kind of frustrating. I still have 5 days to book a new record month.. gogogo me

played almost 2k  hands today, it was very productive as I made $48 PLUS rakeback! It’s a relief as the day was quite frustrating at some point. Biggest pots I lost were KK vs JT on JxxT in a 4bet pot 150bb deep and a flush vs 57o (no spades) on J5xJ… That last one was against some totally bad reg who keeps running like Usain Bolt vs me. He somehow always get it in horrible and always manages to win.

Biggest match was vs a luckbox at 2/4 and after he ran up $200 to 2k I got some back before the table, sadly, filled up with 4 other people which made it impossible for me to play the huge drooler 300bb deep.

So far this month has gone better than others previously as I crushed and then broke even instead of crushing and running terrible. I’m actually very happy to be breaking even in the last 10 days or so as I have been getting coolered left and right but still maintaining the total won on the month.

well that was a crazy session. I started off only losing for the first 2100 hands and at that point I was really annoyed and tilting. The stacks I lost were all huge coolers (w/sets, nut flushes, etc..) so it was annoying me. However I had a feeling it’d turn around and it did. I was 3-tabling a bad reg on 6-max tables for a while and in the end it finished well. I coolered him a couple of times just like he had done before.. It was a crazy day where I got rivered constantly, nothing was working, etc.. so I am really happy with how it finished.
