November went well, despite me being sick for almost 2 weeks. I didn’t reach my goal of winning 20k through playing but with rb/coaching i will have reached it, so i sort of did. I didn’t play enough hands and hopefully playing on more sites will help this in december.

My goals next month are to, this time, break 20k in winnings and also start to play some hands at 5/10. Should be fun as it’s already hard enough to get action at 3/6..

I’ll be going to Vegas from the 24th to 28th. I just booked a room at the Wynn, and now I just need to book various shows/activities we might want to do. It’s all very expensive, but it’s the kind of place everyone should visit and experience fully. Tho i  probably will never get to experience Vegas as a single person :p

Our plans are to see the must-sees, visit the grand canyon, eat lots of good food and probably gamble just a bit. I might play some live at the Wynn if the games look good but I doubt it honestly. I’ve never been a fan of live play, tho I probably should experience it in vegas at least once. It’s probably really soft and might pay for the trip.  I already play poker at home so it’d feel weird to play while I am on vacation.

I really look forward to the trip, we haven’t been on a trip alone for a while.. We went to Malaysia last January but most of the time we were with her family.

Brag: This week I crossed $50k in winnings at HU. hurray! I think it’ll be a bit more exciting when I reach 100k, but looking back it use to be a long long way ahead so i’m proud of what I have done. I’m aiming for a lot more and since I’m playing full-time i really feel like it’s only a matter of time and effort. Almost half of the winnings have come in the last 2.5 months.

Had my best day ever today, in total I won 4.6k. I 2-tabled a guy at 400nl and pretty much owned his soul for 11bi. It was nice to finally crush someone like that and to not have him leave. I call it a lucky day because it was the result of a lot of coincidences… I don’t really want to bore you with the details of all the strings of coincidences but basically I wasn’t even suppose to play at all today but many things came together well for me. The lesson i learned is that I should fall sick more often and make sure I play the same day.

it was nice to get a big session on the green side, hopefully I can have a couple of these and break 20k as it was my goal this month before I got sick.

I was eager to play so despite feeling a bit sick still I did. At first I was up 2.6k in 700 hands but sadly lost 2k in the span of 200 hands.. most of it was from this huge cooler… to be honest the turn felt like a fold against him, i dunno how to explain it. but yea i have a set so i shove like every time anyway.  i think it’s the biggest pot i’ve lost at 2/4 so far.. i wasn’t angry because I did give him some coolers as well before. http://weaktight.com/1700939

Overall though i finished up around 1.6k which is a pretty good result after not playing for almost a week.

I saw Where The Wild Things Are this weekend and really liked it. the editing is iffy but everything else was great. Max Records is a name to watch in the future… hell of an actor even at his young age.

So i got the flu, like everyone else. my girlfriend got it first and of course i caught it soon after despite my wearing of a mask for a day to try to avoid it. It’s not TOO bad as it’s the 2nd day and I am still able to function somewhat. I spent the whole day playing Modern Warfare 2 which was fun. I love that game, it reminds me of counter-strike but on steroids. I definitely sucked ass my first day but i am playing much better now that I don’t just run into the open like an idiot all the time.

I obviously can’t play poker while sick so I probably will take a little break.. kind of bad timing since I felt like i was playing A+ recently. Also 2 days ago I finally crushed a regular, so for once i cannot complain I run bad vs them. It’s kind of ironic because this guy was avoiding to play me every time i sat with him before but he decided to play this time, which i am thankful for obv. here’s a funny hand where i dunno what he was thinking.. at least if there was a flush draw on the flop i might understand it somewhat: http://weaktight.com/1690875

One day i will run good vs a reg, one day. That is all. So far this month sucks ass, breakeven over 10k hands. Least I have rakeback

I’ve never been big on cars (I still ride the subway) but one day I will have a Mercedes CLS550. It’s quite possibly the sexiest car I’ve ever seen. Never been a Benz fan (always adored Ferraris) but the CLS makes me happy inside. 2 people who live in my condo block own one and I saw the black one this morning… it’s so much prettier in person. It retails at 90k MSRP so perhaps when I play 10/20 it will be one of my goals.

Had an easy start to the day, winning ~1.6k in about 300 hands of 1/2 and 300nl. Didn’t get much action so I went to play some xbox. Came back a bit later and decided to 2-table some reg at 2/4. He was so terrible but his random pressing buttons skills did manage him a solid 4bi win, erasing my profit on the day.

Basically he did a bunch of horrible plays but still ended up winning pots somehow or I never had anything to combat him with.  I might have not adjusted properly, not sure.
